Health & Safety

At Bright Beginnings we follow all guidance from federal, state, and local health offices regarding health and safety. For over 20 years we have provided a safe, nurturing, and interactive environment for children ages 3 months to 5 years of age.

Health & Safety Practice

Bright Beginnings Childcare Development Center ensures the well-being of our children and staff by providing a clean and comfortable learning environment. We maintain high standards of safety and hygiene, some of which are listed below:

  • Infants are placed for naps according to the latest recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Peanut-free facility
  • Teachers wear masks and gloves
  • Teachers and child care providers are First Aid and CPR trained
  • High touch items are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day
  • Items that have been placed in the mouth are separated and not played with until they have been properly sanitized
  • Frequent hand washing of children, teachers, and caregivers is part of the daily curriculum
  • Teacher training to recognize signs of illness so children can quickly be taken to the sick room for attention and care while parents are notified
  • Infant bed linen is cleaned every day.  Toddlers with nap time have dedicated cots and blankets, which are cleaned weekly
  • The facility is professionally cleaned each evening
  • Outdoor equipment is regularly inspected to ensure it is play-ready
